Before beginning work on a new website, it is important to establish what the content will be, and how this content will be broken down. Separating information into relevant pages and sub-pages will begin to inform how the design and layout of your site should function; this is called a site-map. With this in place, we can start to formalise ideas regarding the look and feel of your site. You may already have some ideas taken from other websites you like, or you can provide a brief and we will present you with ideas.

Alternatively you can provide us with designs. These can be rough ideas for us to build upon, or detailed mockups indicating how your site should look. We can take design drafts and turn them into fully functioning web pages.

If you do not require to be able to change the content on your website yourself, you will be ready to go online at this stage. This is called a static website. Most website owners do however require some level of interactivity with their content – this is called a dynamic website and requires a content management system.
